Trailblazers in a new community in Lincoln, Nebraska, our clients were one of the first to build their retirement home in this subdivision, with neighbors still to come. While most of the lots are rectangular, our clients selected a parallelogram-shaped lot, contiguous with a pond to the south side of the development.
The house design capitalizes on the unique shape of the lot to protect the privacy of the owners from the neighbors yet to come while maximizing views of the pond. The living space serves as the central, indoor “courtyard, with an upper floor ready for visiting family.
